Samantha Maina M.A., CCC-SLP is a New Jersey licensed and ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Samantha graduated from Stockton University with a BS in Health Science with a concentration in Communication Disorders. She then went on to receive her master’s degree from Kean University in Speech-Language Pathology.

Samantha’s experience includes public and private schools, private practice, and acute inpatient care and long term rehabilitation care in hospitals. Samantha’s experience in the hospital setting has allowed her to gain experience working with patients with brain injuries, head and neck cancer, cognitive/memory deficits, motor speech and voice disorders, swallowing impairments, and aphasia. Samantha’s pediatric experience in the school and private practice setting has allowed her to gain experience in working with children with articulation/phonological disorders, language disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, central auditory processing disorders, and feeding disorders. Samantha has also gained experience in implementing augmentative devices to children with multiple disabilities. Samantha holds certifications in the Beckman oral motor protocol and LSVT LOUD therapy.
